What is SoftWashing?

Softwashing is the alternative to pressure washing. We use a water-based, biodegradable chemicals. They emulsify dirt and grime, break down bugs nest and webs as well as kills mold, mildew, algae, and bacteria, sanitizing the surfaces we are cleaning. Softwash uses only one-third the water of pressure washing, lasts four to six times longer and doesn’t erode the surface, like pressure washing often can.

Our equipment and cleaning process are closer to pest control than to pressure washing. Our system is specifically designed to simulate low pressure rain fall and to evenly coat a surface. Our specifically engineered soaps trigger a chemical process that kills any form of algae, lichens, moss, mildew, or bugs nests on contact. Once everything is rinsed clean, the FinalWash leaves behind a residual barrier that inhibits airborne spores from re-growing on that surface. This environmentally responsible process is highly effective and beautiful to watch, and will leave the surface absolutely clean.

Chemical phobia!

Many people are looking for chemical-free cleaning. Something that is strong enough to kill that funk that is growing on their roofs and homes, but that is weak enough to not hurt the gardens and plants around the home. Unfortunately, this not possible. If the solution is not strong enough to kill the plants around your home, it will not be strong enough to kill the growth on your home.

Our Solution!

Our approach is to look at the issue differently! We want to use the chemicals that are effective and produce the results we want, but to use to them in a very targeted way. We call this our 3D approach.

Dilute

Our purposefully-built equipment lets us fine tune the exact chemical ratio for each surface that we treat. This technology allows us to pinpoint tough areas with high concentrations and at the same time keep the concentration levels low where needed. This way we get desired results while using the lowest, effective concentration.

Divert

Our technicians have the tools to control all flow of water during our cleaning. From proper hose setup, to gutter awareness, to containing overflows, we make sure keep our cleaning solutions contained to only the areas that we are interested in cleaning.

Decontamination

The final step in our cleaning process is to decontaminate all of the cleaning solution that we use. This special rinse (we call it FinalWash) will remove the sodium from all surfaces, rendering it harmless and useless. This step also allows any of the left-over solution to break down into carbon and water in less than 20 days.

PlantWash

When our cleaning has concluded, our technicians will wash all the plant life that is around your house with our PlantWash. This specialized liquid fertilizer will rejuvenate the plants, bushes, trees, grass, or flowers that are around your home. We leave the plants well feed, happy, and ready to compliment that clean beauty of your home.

A Closer Look at Roof Washing

Those black streaks and stains are Gleocapsa Magma bacteria. Commonly called mildew, Gleocapsa Magma grows on wood, concrete, siding, aluminum, among other surfaces. Each individual streak is one colony of algae. Over time, these streaks grow together creating a super colony.

These organisms love to feed on the limestone in your roof shingles. Over time they break down the shingles and create root systems called “Filaments” that penetrate through the surface and create fissures and cracks. This allows larger and more destructive organisms to penetrate even further through the shingles, creating costly repairs and leaking roofs.

If left untreated, these organisms will deteriorate the roof to the point that it will need to be repaired or replaced. With the spread of Gleocapsa Magma, premature roof failures are all too common. It is not unusual to see a 20-year, 3-tab, shingle roof fail before it reaches its 10th year. This means home and building owners are only getting 50% of their money’s worth on a new roof.

Treating your roof with soft washing is more like bug control – the mix of safe, biodegradable chemicals ensure that the organisms that cause buildup are not just partially swept away, but eliminated entirely.

A Closer Look at Wood Wash

Wood decks add beauty and function to any home. They quickly become a favorite place for the family to relax and enjoy the warm, sunny days. Unfortunately, they are a favorite place for a host of algae and bacterial parasites as well. When these organisms start accumulating in the small fissures and cracks in your wood, they speed up the process of decomposition and will leave the wood slimly and slippery – not to mention conceal that natural grain look with their dark green spots. Over time you lose the beauty of the wood deck, and it becomes a place that people avoid.

Our 3-Part Wood Wash can put a stop to those pesky organisms that are eating away at your investment, and reclaim that area for you and your family.

3-Step Process

Our cleaning process is environmentally responsible and highly effective. It cleans up all of the grime, dirt, organic growth, and years of buildup, to reveal that natural wood grain look that the deck had when it was first installed. We pride ourselves on helping you reclaim the areas of your home of which nature has taken control.
